====================RUMOR====================
Lucid daggers placed themselves, ever so delicately, on the stone cliffs path. Wore down by many travels, the ebony flints were sore, and tired. their barer was the same. her heart beat slower, and slower, as the dark shadow of rest crept upon her every so often. The femora muttered to herself. Speaking the evils of spell, and outrageous murders. Her scarred velvets moved with every word she spoke, their vouls mean hated to others. The mare gasped as her front legs gave way beneath her, and her Gypsy bulk came to rest on the cliff path. her whole Frame blocking the path, so no others could pass. If any others even came. This land was dangerous, and that was why Rumor had come to it. it had called to her evil soul. Not many had set foot on it, and she wanted to be one of the only. The sain part of her beckoned her on.
She layed her tiara upon the ground, her smooth coat met the rough terra with a small smack. Her large bulk was like a dumbbell. It pulled her to the floor, with an intention Rumor didn't like. She was not weak, she should be weakened by a small journey. But this one was long. She had traveled from another land, one with alliance, and unicorns that did magic. To this one, weak and small. During her travel, Rumor had hardly set her black orbs on any equines. but when she did happen to stumbled upon one, they seemed to have no personality. Non to define them between a light and a dark. If no alliances ruled this land, Rumor would surely go mad. Not that she was already. Speaking to herself, these odd random pains. It was all a mystery. And Rumor wanted it solved.
The cackled of a vulture sounded above her. Rumor lifted her dial from the prune ground. Her shadowed mirrors followed the flying figure, as it circled around her. Its wings flapping as if it where in slow motion. She got up on her fatigue pillars. There thick mass trembled as she lifted her head to the, still circling, vulture. The vulture was closer now. The golden gleam of his malicious eye, could be seen beneath his bushy brow. A light breeze blew her long forelock over Rumors pools, obscuring them from view. Her velvet kisser moved as she curses at the bird. Her piercing vocals reaching the skies.
I am not dead you animal!
Her vocals screamed at the bird. There high sound reaching the birds ears, causing him to fly away.
Rumor gritted her teeth in agony, as a sharp pain dug into her side. Her ribcage heaved as she took a jagged breath. Small rocks tumbled to the ocean below as her frame was slammed against the opposing wall. Its rocky surface crumbled beneath her huge weight. Dust formed in the air, and dance around the doves bodice. the dust dance on her muzzle and around her orbs, blinding her, if only for a few moments. Her frazzled mane clung to the rocky wall, as her slipping hooves strained for a grip on the smooth, yet rocky path.
beads of sweat formed around Rumors petite mask. The pain in her side was growing, its decimating fingers grinding their way deeper into her gut. White showed large in the vixens optics, as she looked at her side, to see a dark spot on her, already dark, pelt. As if she were bleeding. But no blood was present. The raven hued boa bends itself to the ground in agony. The rest of her burly bulk follows. She twist as she falls to the hard terra floor. Her monstrous hooves come to the rocky cliffs edge. The pain begins to fade, and the femmora relaxes a bit. Her breath is jagged and slow as she recovers from her pains.
A wet drop falls from the heavens. Rumors flinches at the cold gust that takes the pains place. More drops fall, and soon it is pouring. The rain feels good. The heat mustered up from the burning pain earlier, is now gone, replaced by a cold damp pelt. She sighs. Her orbs close as she lays there vulnerable, but uncaring.
A clap of thunder and lightning illuminates the sky. In the flash, it highlights Rumors bod. Almost unmoving, she lies there. Tired and weak.her pelt shiny and smooth from the rain that soaks it. The pains are getting worse. More painful, and strong. She needed to find the solution. Find it before the pain..killed her.
OOC//:THis poem inspired me for part of this post.

Assassin had been wandering the trails, he fancied looking for a new place to live. He looked to the skies as he heard the clap of thunder, and shook his head. Great, a storm, just what he needed. It was already getting dark, and it would be even darker now, with all the storm clouds in the skies.
The paint horse sighed, and with a roll of his orbs, continued to walk along the trail. It wasn't the easiest one he had walked along, it was rocky, and uneven, very dangerous. He was not used to such terrain, and he was having a tough time overcoming it.
The rain came down softly at first, but then it really poured. He had never seen so much rain in his life, but the stallion had to keep focused. If his concentration lapsed for just a moment, then it could have fatal consequences. He knew that in a few short moments, the trail would become slipperly and he could fall at any moment. It was a long drop, and he didn't plan on falling down it anytime soon.
As he was walking, very slowly now as the rain continued to fall, he saw a large dark shape in the distance. Curious as to what it was, he made his way over slowly, and as he was moving, caught the scent of another horse, a mare to be exact.
Great...I bet she's weak, though I can hardly blame her for stopping, what with the weather and all. he thought as he walked over to the lump. The mare did not seem to be moving, though she was breathing.
Taking another step forward, he looked down over her. He wanted her to move out of the way, and it wouldn't just be him that would be angry if she did not move. Who knew if others were trying to walk the trail tonight, and moved to find her in the way.
You shouldn't be lying there, you might be in the way. he said in his cruel voice, and remained standing, waiting to see if the mare would reply.

Small vibrations could be felt through the earth's crust. Another was approaching. The stong smell of rain and wet pelt filled the air, as the femmora widdened her nars. Hoping to catch the scent of the newcomer. Stallion. Rumor snorted. A small vapor of mist rose in the air, only to be punchered by the oncoming rain. Rumor didn't really like stallions, though she could tolorate them. The darks ones anyway. Black lobes pricked forward at the sound of vocals. Their harsh corus rung in her ears as she consentrated on the words spoken. With al the rain and thunder it was harder to hear than normal, even with the stag so close. Rumor moved her pupils to get a look at the stallion with out him noticing. The stallion was two toned. Quite handsome acually, but it was to dark to really tell.Rumor groaned as she hauled herself to her feet. THe left side of her pelt was plasered in mud. Almost invisible under the dark, stormy sky. Blak colored stands stucjk to her form as she turned to face the stag. her long flowing banner clung to her rump like bony old hands. They grasped whatever part of her that they could. The vixen's smooth forlock hung over her orbs. Their black mass hidding them from veiw. Rumor turened to face where she guessed the stallion stood and begun to talk. he femanin vocals ringing high into the stormy sky.
I am not in anyones way.
Her chorus was imformative and not rude at all. Her kisers closed as she finished her words. Drops of rain littered her coal velvets. Her onxy pools looked to the stallion.
I was just leaving anway.
Ruor snorted. Her giant nars flared as she spoke her chorus. These words stung the air.

Assassin looked at her curiously, why had she not got up earlier? This was not a good place to rest, surely she knew that? Oh well, it was no business of Assassin's what the fae did with her life, but he was curious to know as to why she was on the trail in the first place. The paint had expected to see only stallions, and no mares. He did not see the trail as...fit...for mares, as he saw them as weak.
Why are you on this trail? Surely there are safer places to be. he asked, and awaited her answer. She was fascinating, though because of the darkness, not just of the night, but also of the fae's pelt, he could not see her features very well. Only when lightning struck did he get a good look.
